History of the college
Dmytro and Halyna Kaigorodova
The founder of the Kyiv Choreographic College is the Kiyanochka Cultural Center (created by Dmytro and Halyna Kaigorodova). On May 31, 2003, Kiyanochka Cultural Center LLC, as a complex educational and cultural institution, decided to establish a subsidiary, Kyiv Choreographic College.
The college is part of a unique multi-level model of continuing choreographic education, the structure of which includes:
Kiyanochka Cultural Center (founded in 1985);
Kiyanochka Kindergarten School;
Choreographic gymnasium "Kiyanochka";
Young Ballet of Kyiv Theater.
Over the years, the college has trained more than 300 professionals who have significant achievements in performing skills, lead well-known artistic groups, become leading soloists of national and foreign theaters, triumphantly tour many countries, receive recognition at the most prestigious classical dance competitions and festivals.

During the years of formation and development of the college in different years the following teachers worked: People's Artist of the USSR Potapova OM, People's Artist of Ukraine Dorosh GA, People's Artist of Ukraine Rekhviashvili AY, Honored Artist of Ukraine Shoshin AO, Litvinov OI, Suyarova AO, Naku PP, Maibenko OO, Zagoruyko VV, Kaplun OY, Tishchenko II, Doroshenko GO, Krasnykh M. O., Martin LO, Proskurenko LM, Konechna AM, Podvysotsky DS, Kulak OP, Pronina S.Yu., Panasyuk IV, Nekrasova AO , Petrenenko A., Novikov MO ..
Today, the training of specialists in the specialty 024 "Choreography" is provided by a highly qualified teaching staff, which constantly improves the level of qualification. The administration of the college carries out systematic work to attract specialists with practical experience to the educational process, as a result of which the staff is replenished with new personalities who provide full training of future specialists.
Dmytro Kaigorodov was awarded the Order of Public Recognition (2004) for outstanding achievements before the society and significant personal contribution to the creation of a worthy international image of Ukraine.
Since 2005 - "Excellent Education of Ukraine".
2014 - the hero of the project "Teachers-innovators in Ukraine".
2015 - awarded the Order of Merit of the Third Degree (Decree of the President of Ukraine № 632/2015).
Kaihorodov Dmytro Yevhenovych is a member of the NGO "Association of Private Educational Institutions of Kyiv", a member of the Association of Private Educational Institutions of Ukraine.
Today, the subsidiary "Kyiv Choreographic College" is a modern educational institution that allows each student to develop individual talents and abilities and provides training for professionals with high professional and socio-personal competencies. The college is in constant creative search, fruitfully works in the pedagogical and cultural-artistic field, actively develops innovative strategies, conducts international activities, develops social partnership relations with employers, higher educational institutions. In the Young Ballet of Kyiv Theater, artists have the opportunity to form their own artistic style, improve their personal, performing and choreographic skills.
The prospect of the college's development is to improve the educational and methodological and logistical support of the educational process aimed at improving the professional skills of specialists.
